Terms of service

Last updated: 8 September 2026

Welcome to Be Free Mobility. These Terms & Conditions apply to your use of our website and to purchases made through our online store.

By using our website or placing an order with us, you agree to these Terms & Conditions. Please read them carefully before placing an order.

Nothing in these Terms & Conditions affects your statutory rights as a consumer under UK law.

1. About Be Free Mobility

Business name: Be Free Mobility
Business address: 41 Beechy Avenue, Eastbourne, East Sussex, BN20 8NU
Email: info@befreemobility.co.uk
Website: www.befreemobility.co.uk

In these Terms & Conditions:

  • “We”, “us” or “our” means Be Free Mobility.
  • “You” or “your” means the customer using our website or purchasing our products.
  • “Products” means the mobility wear, clothing, accessories and other goods available through our website.

2. Our Products

Be Free Mobility sells mobility wear and related products designed to provide comfort, convenience, confidence and support for people with mobility needs.

We make reasonable efforts to ensure that product descriptions, photographs, colours, measurements and other information on our website are accurate.

However, colours may appear slightly different depending on your device or screen settings.

Where a product has specific sizing, fitting, care or usage instructions, we recommend that you read these carefully before purchasing.

3. Medical and Mobility Information

Our products are designed as clothing, accessories or lifestyle products unless a product description specifically states otherwise.

Our products should not be considered a substitute for professional medical advice, diagnosis or treatment.

If you have particular medical, mobility or physical requirements, you should seek appropriate professional advice before purchasing or using a product where necessary.

You are responsible for ensuring that a product is suitable for your individual requirements, except where you have specifically relied on information provided by us and it was reasonable for you to do so.

4. Product Availability

All products are subject to availability.

If a product you order becomes unavailable after you place your order, we will contact you as soon as reasonably possible.

Where we cannot supply an unavailable product, we will provide an appropriate refund.

We reserve the right to limit quantities of products purchased where reasonably necessary, for example where there is suspected misuse of the website or unusually large orders.

5. Prices

Product prices are displayed on our website.

Prices will be shown inclusive of VAT where applicable.

Delivery charges will be displayed separately where applicable before you complete your purchase.

We take reasonable care to ensure that prices are accurate. If we discover an obvious pricing error, we will contact you before processing the order.

You will not be required to pay an incorrect price caused by an obvious error where you could reasonably have recognised the mistake.

6. Placing an Order

When you place an order through our website, you are making an offer to purchase the selected products.

After placing your order, you should receive an order confirmation acknowledging that we have received your order.

An order confirmation does not necessarily mean that your order has been accepted.

We may accept your order by sending an order-dispatch confirmation or by otherwise confirming that the products have been dispatched.

Once accepted, a contract between you and Be Free Mobility will exist for the products ordered.

We reserve the right to decline or cancel an order where reasonably necessary, including where:

  • A product is unavailable;
  • There has been an obvious pricing or product-description error;
  • We reasonably suspect fraudulent or unlawful activity;
  • Payment has not been successfully authorised; or
  • We are unable to fulfil the order for reasons outside our reasonable control.

If we cancel an order after payment has been taken, we will provide an appropriate refund.

7. Payment

We accept the payment methods displayed during checkout.

Payment must be successfully authorised before your order is processed.

Payments may be processed by third-party payment providers, such as Shopify Payments, PayPal or other providers available through our website.

We do not normally store complete payment-card details on our own systems.

You confirm that any payment information you provide is accurate and that you are authorised to use the selected payment method.

8. Delivery

We will provide delivery information, estimated delivery times and applicable delivery charges during the ordering process.

We aim to dispatch orders within the times stated on our website or in your order confirmation.

Delivery times are estimates unless we have specifically agreed a guaranteed delivery date with you.

If no specific delivery period has been agreed, applicable UK consumer law generally requires goods to be delivered without undue delay and, subject to applicable exceptions, no later than 30 days after the contract is entered into.

Once your order has been dispatched, you may receive tracking information where available.

We are not responsible for delays caused by events outside our reasonable control, although your statutory rights remain unaffected.

9. International Orders

Where we offer delivery outside the UK, additional delivery charges, taxes, customs duties or import charges may apply.

Unless otherwise stated at checkout, any applicable customs duties, import taxes or other charges imposed by the destination country may be your responsibility.

You are responsible for ensuring that products can legally be imported into your destination country.

10. Returns and Cancellation

If you purchase products from us online as a consumer, you generally have a legal right to cancel your order within 14 days of receiving the goods, without needing to provide a reason.

After notifying us that you wish to cancel, you generally have a further 14 days to return the goods.

Some legal exceptions apply, including certain personalised or customised products and certain sealed goods that cannot be returned for health or hygiene reasons once unsealed.

Please see our Returns & Refunds Policy for full details of how to request a return.

Nothing in these Terms & Conditions limits your statutory cancellation rights.

11. Faulty, Damaged or Incorrect Products

We want every product you receive to meet the standards you would reasonably expect.

Under UK consumer law, goods supplied to consumers must generally be as described, of satisfactory quality and fit for purpose.

If you receive a product that is:

  • Faulty;
  • Damaged;
  • Incorrect;
  • Not as described; or
  • Otherwise does not meet your statutory rights,

please contact us as soon as possible.

Depending on the circumstances and your legal rights, you may be entitled to a repair, replacement, price reduction or refund.

We will not ask you to give up any legal rights you have under UK consumer law.

12. Personalised and Customised Products

Some Be Free Mobility products may be available with personalisation, such as custom embroidery, names, logos or shop branding.

Where a product has been personalised specifically for you, it may not be eligible for cancellation simply because you have changed your mind where a legal exception applies.

Before placing an order for a personalised product, please carefully check:

  • Spelling;
  • Names;
  • Logo files;
  • Colours;
  • Sizes; and
  • Other personalisation information.

We cannot be responsible for errors in personalisation caused by information supplied incorrectly by the customer.

This does not affect your legal rights if the personalised product is faulty, defective or otherwise does not conform to the contract.

13. Product Care

Where care instructions are provided with a product or on its product page, you should follow them carefully.

We cannot accept responsibility for damage caused by failure to follow reasonable care instructions, misuse, inappropriate washing, alterations or improper use.

This does not affect your statutory rights regarding faults that existed when the goods were supplied.

14. Website Use

You agree to use our website lawfully and responsibly.

You must not:

  • Use the website for fraudulent or unlawful purposes;
  • Attempt to gain unauthorised access to our systems;
  • Introduce viruses, malware or other harmful material;
  • Interfere with the operation or security of the website;
  • Copy or reproduce website content for commercial purposes without permission;
  • Use automated systems to collect information from the website without our permission; or
  • Attempt to place fraudulent or abusive orders.

We may restrict or suspend access to our website where we reasonably believe that these Terms & Conditions have been breached.

15. Intellectual Property

Unless otherwise stated, the content on the Be Free Mobility website is owned by or licensed to Be Free Mobility.

This may include:

  • Logos;
  • Brand names;
  • Photographs;
  • Product images;
  • Graphics;
  • Website design;
  • Text;
  • Videos;
  • Marketing materials; and
  • Other website content.

You may view and use the website for your personal, non-commercial purposes.

You must not reproduce, modify, distribute or commercially exploit our content without our prior written permission.

16. Customer Reviews and Content

If you submit a product review, photograph, testimonial or other content to us, you confirm that:

  • The content is your own or you have permission to use it;
  • It does not infringe another person's rights;
  • It is not unlawful, defamatory, misleading or offensive; and
  • It does not contain malicious software or harmful material.

We may remove content that we reasonably believe breaches these requirements.

Where you provide content for publication or marketing purposes, you grant us permission to use that content for those purposes, subject to applicable law.

17. Promotions and Discount Codes

From time to time, we may offer promotional codes, discounts or special offers.

Unless stated otherwise:

  • Promotional codes cannot be exchanged for cash;
  • Only one promotional code may be used per order;
  • Promotions cannot be applied retrospectively to previous orders; and
  • Promotional offers may be subject to specific terms and expiry dates.

We will provide the applicable conditions for individual promotions.

We reserve the right to withdraw or amend a promotion where reasonably necessary, subject to applicable law.

18. Our Liability

Nothing in these Terms & Conditions excludes or limits liability where doing so would be unlawful.

In particular, we do not exclude or limit liability for matters that cannot legally be excluded or limited, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or your statutory consumer rights.

UK consumer law does not allow businesses to use contract terms to avoid responsibility for faulty goods or goods that are not as described.

Subject to the above, we are not responsible for losses that:

  • Were not reasonably foreseeable;
  • Were not caused by our breach of these Terms & Conditions; or
  • Relate to business use where the law permits such limitation.

Nothing in this section affects rights you have as a consumer.

19. Events Outside Our Control

We will not be responsible for delays or failures caused by events outside our reasonable control.

These may include:

  • Severe weather;
  • Natural disasters;
  • Fire;
  • Flood;
  • Industrial disputes;
  • Transport disruption;
  • Government action;
  • Internet or telecommunications failures;
  • Cybersecurity incidents outside our reasonable control; or
  • Other circumstances that could not reasonably have been prevented.

Where such an event occurs, we will take reasonable steps to minimise its impact and keep customers informed where appropriate.

20. Privacy

We collect and use personal information in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

Our Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, why we collect it, how we use it and your rights regarding your personal information.

By using our website, you acknowledge that your information will be handled in accordance with that policy.

21. Cookies

Our website uses cookies and similar technologies.

Some cookies are necessary for the operation of the website, while others may be used for analytics, functionality or marketing.

Where required, we will ask for your consent before using non-essential cookies.

Please see our Cookie Policy for further information.

Our website may contain links to third-party websites or services.

These links are provided for convenience. We do not control and are not responsible for the content, availability, security or privacy practices of third-party websites.

You should review the relevant third party's terms and privacy policy before using their services.

23. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms & Conditions from time to time.

The latest version will be published on our website with the relevant “Last updated” date.

Changes will not affect orders that you have already placed where doing so would unlawfully alter your contractual or statutory rights.

24. Complaints

We want to resolve any problems quickly and fairly.

If you have a complaint about an order, product or service, please contact us:

Be Free Mobility
Email: [INSERT EMAIL ADDRESS]
Telephone: [INSERT TELEPHONE NUMBER]

Please include your order number and details of the issue where possible.

We will review your complaint and aim to respond within a reasonable period.

25. Governing Law

These Terms & Conditions and any contract between you and Be Free Mobility are governed by the laws of England and Wales, except where applicable consumer law gives you mandatory rights under the laws of another part of the United Kingdom.

If you are a consumer living in the UK, you will also benefit from any mandatory protections provided by the law applicable to you.

26. Severability

If any provision of these Terms & Conditions is found to be unlawful, invalid or unenforceable, that provision will be treated as removed to the extent necessary.

The remaining provisions will continue to apply.

27. Entire Agreement

These Terms & Conditions, together with our Privacy Policy, Returns & Refunds Policy and any other policies specifically referred to on our website, form the basis of the agreement between you and Be Free Mobility concerning your use of our website and purchase of our products.

Nothing in these Terms & Conditions removes or restricts any legal rights you have as a consumer.
